Parent Faculty Organization
Welcome to the PFO
The White Point Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) is a registered Non-Profit 501(c)3. We are a volunteer group of parents and teachers led by an elected board. Our mission is to promote and encourage communication between parents, teachers, administration, and the community. The PFO also sponsors and organizes fundraising and school events, which deepen our community spirit and enrich our children's educational, social, and developmental experiences.
How can you help?
BECOME A MEMBER
Join the Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) for only $10 per family annually. Membership gives you the option to receive monthly PFO meeting minutes, receive the PFO roster and participate in the annual elections. Application is available here.
BECOME AN EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER
Become an executive board member or committee chair. View the PFO Position Descriptions below to see which role is a good fit for you. Officer Nominations and Elections are in the Spring for the upcoming school year beginning in the Fall. Newly incoming volunteers are still able to join and be voted in an officer position when they arrive in the Fall.
MEETINGS
The PFO meets on the first Wednesday of every month. Please check the school calendar for meeting dates and changes.
FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Some of the events and programs made possible by your PFO membership include: Art To Grow On, Teacher Project Grants, Assemblies, Fun Fridays, Jog-A-Ton, Mini Olympics, Fall Carnival, Fun Day, and more.
